About Dan

Dan Tarman is a seasoned communications professional with deep experience in leading internal as well as external communications for complex financial transactions and M&As, change management and corporate transformations, as well as crisis management. He is a strategist and a hands-on practitioner who works in close partnership with senior executives to deliver optimized messaging in-line with client objectives.

Dan started his career as a commercial litigator, but soon after found his true calling in communication & PR. During his career Dan has held a number of senior roles, including serving as Senior Managing Director with Teneo, a global consulting firm, where his clients included Softbank Vision Fund, Delta Airlines and Activision-Blizzard, among others. His corporate roles have included serving as Chief Communications Officer at eBay where he led communications on a number of acquisitions and divestitures. He also served as Managing Director of Corporate Communications & Brand Marketing at Countrywide Financial Corp, and Senior Vice President of Issues Management and Public Affairs at VISA. Dan also led the corporate and financial practice in the western U.S. for Burson-Marsteller, one of the world's largest communications consultants. Dan also has public sector experience, having served as Vice President and Special Assistant to the President of The Beacon Council, Miami's public-private economic development organization.

Dan has served on the national board of directors of Autism Speaks, and he is a member of the Executive Committee of the Anti-Defamation League in Orange County CA, where he and his family reside.

Dan holds a B.A. from Tulane University, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law.
